Jacqueline Watt is a nationally known and respected contemporary Scottish painter. A graduate of Edinburgh College of Art, she is a practising, professional artist who exhibits both nationally and internationally, and has work in both private and public collections, as well as in the corporate sector.

Her studio is situated in Leith, Edinburgh, where she works and paints. This is the core activity at the heart of her very successful career as painter, teacher and lecturer. Watt’s work is informed by the Scottish landscape and its elemental forces and is strong, expressive and colourful as a direct result. These mixed media works are large and vibrant and her innovative use of paint and colour is firmly grounded in, and influenced by, her traditional Scottish art education.

Jacqueline is also a Tutor for Leith School of Art as well as being a Senior Tutor and Scottish Organiser for the Open College of the Arts.
