My work explores sign systems that investigate the potential interpretation and aesthetics of future technologies, based on today's. It is inspired by Minimalism, Modernist Italian design and Contemporary Art movements, experimenting with unattractive colours, varied methods and materials, and stringent designs, to observe the uses of technology in politics, warfare and commerce in a dark, new age. My latest work is inspired by Scotland and Italy for this narrative, taking from each country's historical advancements in technology and design.
