  • Biography
My prints and paintings emerge out of the experience of walking in the countryside.
From drawings made on the move outside, I transform my observation of the real world rather than accurately reproducing what I see.

Finished paintings investigate the interface between drawing and painting, aiming at a kind of layered map, hinting at things which lie unseen under the earth; traces of previous generations; the exhilaration of the changing seasons; the memories of journeys made.
B.A. (Hons) Fine Art, 2005
